✔️Intake System Test: An intake system is described for connecting a carburetor and a combustion chamber of internal combustion engines. Leakage in the air intake system will lead to insufficient intake of the car engine.

✔️Crankcase System Test: The crankcase is the "body" that holds all of the other engine parts together. It's the largest part of the engine.Excessive pressure or corrosion of the crankcase is the main reason to damage the seal of the crankcase and cause oil leakage.

✔️System Pressure Gauge: the Pressure Gauge displays the output of pressure of the machine if block the smoke outlet port,otherwise it shows the real time pressure of the system been testing.

✔️Pressure Decay Tesing: this gauge can also be used to determine if a leak exists by switching of the air control while the system is uner pressure.if the guage holds the displayed pressure.if the gauge holds the displayed pressure,there is on leakage.if the displayed pressure starts drops,there is leakage in the system.

● No Leak: Flow Meter drop to "0"and pressure reading raise to Max
● Small Leak: Flow Meter stay between 0.1 to 0.5LPM.
● Massive Leak：Flow Meter raise and pressure reading drop to "0".

Flow meter indicates the leak size:

● P0456, the meter should be at 0.1 LPM EVAP for a .020 leak standard
● P0442, the meter should be at 0.5 LPM EVAP for a .040 leak standard

📌 Warm Tips:

● The oil level shall not exceed the level gauge and please do not exceed 15 ml when adding new oil later.

● Please do not to operate the SM603 EVAP system smoke machine continuously for more than 8 minutes.

● Before refilling new oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector, drain the old oil and then add new oil.

● Use Baby Oil, do NOT use water based liquid, water based liquid will heat up quickly and lead to overheating.

● To ensure the safety of people and vehicles, the engine does not need to be ignited during use.

● If your smoke machine's fumes are discharged from the top of the machine: please turn on the gas switch first, then power on.

If you have the following problem, please don't be anxious, it may be caused by incorrect operation, so please follow the correct way first.

Oil smoke is coming out from inside the housing or from the top of the machine.

Correct operation: you need to turn on the gas switch first and then power on. Use gas first to determine whether there is a leak, there is no leakage, there is no need to smoke. Even if there is a leak, before injecting smoke should also open the distal interface of the pipeline being tested until there is smoke and then plugged, so that the smoke quickly filled with the system being tested

Smoke leak detector tube is melted and leaking oil.

The SM603 automotive smoke machine has overheat protection, but the temperature protection is triggered at the bottom line of the heater wire to prevent overheating of the external fire. Under normal ventilation conditions, the tube will not melt unless the air supply is turned off or the system is being tested. So when testing you need to pay attention to the state of the flow meter and not keep running the equipment, which will cause the temperature to keep rising and the gas will not take away the heat without flowing.
